Color Schemes

For this weeks 1st assignment on color schemes. I decided to show complementary colors of red and green and then blue and orange. I had a lot of fun doing this with food. :)

For the second part of this assignment I chose to show analogous colors or red, orange, and yellow. These colors are all next to each other on the color wheel and are represented by peppers.

  1. Rachel,
Good job with the different color scheme photos. I really enjoy the analogous color scheme because the red, orange, yellow are very bright and vibrant.

  2. The candy colors go together very well! I also really like the peppers, the wood is a great background for the red, orange, and yellow.

  3. Rachel- great job! Choosing food as your subject matter was very creative. I really love the m&ms- who does not! The peppers for analogous is also great-they look like hot peppers- again one of my favorites.

  4. Hi Rachel
What creative ways to get al of these done . My favorite is of the peppers, the colors blend nicely and the lighting adds a crispness to the shot . It looks like something in a food magazine. M&M come in so many colors, what fun. Maria
